COVID-19 Vaccine Update

We would like to announce that our practice is participating in the COVID-19 Vaccine Rollout, already started since April 2021.

We are now providing Astra Zeneca vaccination to people over 60 years old.

Below is some further information in regard to this Rollout.

Where can I find out more about the Covid-19 Vaccine?

How do I know I am eligible for the vaccine in the 1b and 2a Rollout?

You can check your eligibility at

Phase 1b: Over 70 y.o., health care workers, high risk workers, ATSI adults and adult with specified medical conditions or disabilities.

Phase 2a: Adults over 50 years and over, ATSI adults aged 18-49 years and other critical and high risk workers

Your eligibility will be checked at time of vaccination by providing ID for proof of Age/Occupation or Health Summary or other evidence of chronic disease.

What else can I do to prepare for the vaccine?

  1. Read and access the information about the COVID-19 vaccination on this page
  2. Make sure your details with Medicare are up to date and link your Medicare online account through your MyGov account or ring Services Australia on 132011. This will also help you access your Immunisation History Statement following vaccination.
  3. Check our Website for updates:
  4. Provide ID for proof of Age, occupation, health summary or evidence of chronic disease
  5. Please do not delay having your flu vaccine as there may be a wait for the COVID-19 Vaccine (as we have limited supply).

I’m concerned about my allergies and having the vaccine?

Part of the pre-screening checklist is to ensure that we screen patient for allergies.

There is no food, latex or gelatin in Covid-19 vaccines currently available.

The vaccine has no preservatives and no ingredients of animal or human origin.

All patients must be observed for 15 mins following their vaccination.

Some patients will be asked to wait 30 mins.
